Powerball fever has gripped the nation as the jackpot continues to grow past the $1.5 billion mark for the first time. The lure of that kind of winning has reportedly lured one of country’s biggest stars to lay some money down for lotto tickets.

A source in Nashville tells Rare Country that Keith Urban was spotted buying several lottery tickets this past weekend at a gas station in Music City. The superstar reportedly stood in line just like everyone else. Even though Urban’s rep couldn’t confirm that was actually him buying the tickets, we like to think the country superstar is checking his lotto numbers faithfully every night.

Even if Urban wins the billion-dollar jackpot, we’re sure he’ll still head out on his Ripcord World Tour 2016. The trek launches June 2 in Kansas City, Mo., just after Urban wraps up the final season of “American Idol” in May. You can see a full list of dates here.

Urban is taking Brett Eldredge and Maren Morris along for the Ripcord World Tour. In celebration of the new trek, all three acts performed a cover of Adele’s “Rolling in the Deep” live on Sirius XM this week. Check it out below.
