Gwen Stefani shocked an audience with none other than Blake Shelton Instagram/@gwenstefani

Boy, oh boy. A lot can happen in just one year.

And, for Blake Shelton and his girlfriend, Gwen Stefani, the last 12 months certainly proved that.

On Aug. 2, Gwen performed to a crowd of fans at the DTE Energy Music Theatre in Clarkston, Michigan. According to “Billboard,” the 46-year-old singer told the audience that the night was on “a different level of special.”

Indeed, it was.

In fact, Gwen’s concert was held one day prior to reaching the one-year anniversary of splitting from ex-hubby and rocker Gavin Rossdale. Not only that, but Blake was also on hand at the show to support his main squeeze wholeheartedly.

Together, Shefani sang their heartfelt duet “Go Ahead and Break My Heart.” Gwen swayed from side to side as Blake jammed out on his acoustic guitar. And of course, the two of them locked eyes so sweetly. It’s clear that the passion between them is still so strong. Following the song, Blake and Gwen held onto each other in a warm embrace, which Gwen posted on Instagram.

And, it appears as though the couple got in some practice. Prior to their stunning performance, Gwen tweeted a few photos of her and her beau in rehearsals.

We’d like to think that neither Blake nor Gwen will be breaking the other one’s heart anytime soon.
