Some couples don’t even make it through the first three months before they’re telling the world that they are expecting a little bundle of joy. Then, friends and family can follow along for the remaining months to provide moral support and help them stock up on diapers and other baby goodies.

Other couples keep the news of a baby-to-be a little quieter, like Texas superstar Randy Rogers.

During his March 16 appearance at this year’s South By Southwest Music Festival, Randy couldn’t wait any longer to reveal that he and wife Chelsea were expecting a baby girl. “Baby due May 19—another little girl,” he told Taste of Country. “Fingers crossed.”

So, the countdown is on for Randy, Chelsea and daughters River and Isabel as their newest baby girl readies for her debut. The proud pop-to-be has confirmed that her name will start with “R,” too, and jokes that she could be a “Randi.”

It’s been a great year for Randy, who opened his own artist management company about a year ago. Then, earlier this year, he became the owner of the popular Cheatham Street Street Warehouse in San Marcos, Texas — the very club that launched his career. The previous owner of Cheatham Street, the late Kent Finlay, was an important figure throughout Randy’s career.
