Looks like this country star’s baby boy plays a role in the music-making decisions

Lady Antebellum’s Charles Kelley and his wife, Cassie, may have one of the cutest babies in the world, but when it comes down to music, the toddler means business.

On Feb. 24, Charles posted a video on Instagram featuring his 1-year-old son Ward jamming out to a snippet of “Heartbreak” — a new song off of Lady A’s upcoming album of the same name.

And, it’s no doubt that Ward’s opinion means everything to his daddy, who captioned the sweet video, “Ward [is] testing out the new @ladyantebellum mixes with me this morning! He gives it 2 ?”

In this clip, Ward appears to be all ears, as he clasps tightly onto a little blue stereo, making sure not to let go of it. Of course, there’s no telling what he was actually thinking, but we can guess with some degree of confidence that he loved it! And, that’s a good thing since the precious child will be around his dad’s music regularly.

In fact, Rare Country previously shared that Charles plans to take Ward on the road with him when Lady A launches their 2017 You Look Good Tour. The blonde-haired cutie won’t be alone though, as bandmates Hillary Scott and Dave Haywood plan to bring their little ones on the road, too. Hillary and her drummer/husband have daughter Eisele Kaye, while Dave is father to Cash Van.

Lady A is set to take the road on May 26 in Bakersfield, California. Their sixth studio album, “Heart Break,” is due out June 9.
