Christmas is a crazy time at Luke Bryan’s house thanks to his three boys — Bo, Luke and Til. You can bet they’ve already got their Christmas lists turned in for Santa Claus.
Bryan tells Rare Country some of the items include, “[Those] hoverboard things. Like, the little Segway things. Always BB guns, bow and arrows, Legos. Obviously, no books and no clothes. Who wants that crap?”
When we asked Bryan if he loved getting out in the yard with the boys to play with the bows and arrows, he said with a smile, “No, I just throw ’em a bunch of arrows… Don’t shoot the dog! Have fun!”
Of course, Bryan is completely joking about letting his boys play with weapons unsupervised.
When it comes to letting the kids know about the real reason for Christmas, Bryan and his wife, Caroline, try to talk about their faith throughout the year.
“We try to stress, every day, stress to them, the importance of Jesus and Christianity and being a good person and believing in higher powers,” Bryan says. “I think during Christmastime, with kids, they get wrapped up in Santa Claus and stuff, so I think it’s fun that you sit back and really try to have a talk with them about the real reason.”
With all this talk about Christmas, we got to wondering if a Luke Bryan holiday album is in the works?
He says, “I don’t know if I would do a whole album. There’s a couple of Christmas songs that I always thought it would be fun to put out there for the fans. But, no cheesy Christmas sweaters for me, yet. It’ll happen one of these days.”
