Miranda Lambert is taking full advantage of her Second Amendment rights this Christmas YouTube Screenshot

Miranda Lambert obviously loves firearms, as you can see in this clip from the ACM Awards.

After all, her breakthrough hit was titled “Gunpowder and Lead,” she started a band called Pistol Annies, and her bed and breakfast in Oklahoma, The Ladysmith, is named for a handgun. So, it shouldn’t’ come as a surprise that one long-time fan indulges Lambert’s love for guns every Christmas.

She tells Cosmopolitan, “It sounds weird, but he sends me pistols for Christmas, which is awesome. What other person can say my fans send me pistols for Christmas?”

So, how many guns has Lambert got in her collection?

“I don’t even know,” Lambert admits. “My dad keeps a good count.”

As the daughter of a former cop, Lambert grew up around guns and knows how to use them. That doesn’t mean she’s looking to jump into a big debate on the Second Amendment.

She explains, “I don’t have a stance on anything except what I was taught from day one: gun safety. That’s all that matters to me. I’ve got pistols tattooed on my arm. I’m not all about gun rights and all this stuff.”

Lambert is literally sticking to her guns now that she’s split from former husband Blake Shelton.

She adds, “I live by myself now, so yeah, I have a pistol. Are you crazy?”
