There was much fanfare over country music sensation Miranda Lambert’s latest performance at Madison Square Garden, but there was one song in particular that caught the eye of attendees.
Lambert did a cover of one of country music’s most legendary stars, Merle Haggard.
She sang “The Way I Am” in a slowed down setting, just sitting on a stool, strumming her guitar and singing for her fans.
The performance was beautiful. Mr. Haggard would have been proud.
