Sam Hunt just got two more big feathers in his cap at the American Country Countdown Awards. He took home the Breakthrough Male of the Year and Digital Album of the Year trophies for his hit album “Montevallo.”

After delivering an intimate performance of his latest single, “Make You Miss Me,” Sam accepted his trophies and shined a light on his collaborators in the studio.

He said, “I can’t take all the credit for the success of this album. I realized a few years ago my greatest talent is recognizing talent and conviction in other people and trying to figure out how to work with them. So, I want to thank all the folks that invested their talents in this record. Thank you for sticking to your guns and hanging in there with me ’til the end.”

We’re hoping Sam is feeling some of that same inspiration for the follow-up to “Montevallo.”
