Such is the case for country singer Jake Owen and his precious 4-year-old daughter Pearl, whom he shares with ex-wife Lacey Faye Buchanan.

The father and daughter duo just welcomed a new pup into their world! And, while they’re still learning about the pooch’s personality, they have yet to decide what to call him/her.
On Feb. 18, Jake posted a cute photo of the four-legged friend on Instagram. He also wrote, “Pearl and I picked up our new addition to the family today. A beautiful 3-month-old German Shepherd. Still working on a good name… any suggestions?”

As you can see in the picture above, Jake poses with the puppy in one arm, and his little girl in the other outside of Nashville’s Airport. And, it’s clear that both Jake and Pearl are ecstatic about the new member of the household, as they can’t help but smile from ear to ear!

Though he doesn’t post about his dogs on social media often, Jake has been said to have three other pets that include two bulldogs – Merle and Vern – and one bullmastiff named Thurman Thomas.
So, what do you think the unnamed German Shepherd should be called? Perhaps “Hank,” “Jack” or good ole “Shep.” We’d love to hear your thoughts!
