Superstar Adam Levine dropped by “The Ellen DeGeneres Show,” on Feb. 15 to talk about receiving a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame and returning to the set of “The Voice.” He also tried to convince host Ellen DeGeneres that he “loves” her more than Blake Shelton does.

However, it turns out that he had nothing to prove. Ellen wholeheartedly agreed.

It all happened when Ellen revealed that the bromance buddies each sent her a present for Valentine’s Day. With gratitude she said, “The two of you thank you so much. You both sent me a Valentine’s gift – a little basket.”

Adam replied with, “We love you. I love you. I love you more than Blake. We’re like real friends.”

“I know… I do believe that,” Ellen agreed, “because we text each other. I don’t text with [Blake.]”

Ellen also recalled how she played a pivotal role in naming Adam’s 4-month-old baby girl, Dusty Rose, whom he shares with wife Behati Prinsloo. She even shared some cute pictures of Dusty on the screen behind her.

As for Blake, it didn’t take long for him to find out about Ellen and Adam’s conversation. He tweeted out, “@TheEllenShow @adamlevine No way!!! Adam is a liar!”

Though Blake and Adam seem to have a competitive spirit with each other, they are real friends. On Feb. 10, the country crooner attended Adam’s Hollywood Walk of Fame ceremony with girlfriend Gwen Stefani. And, he took a moment to share some kind words about his “The Voice” co-star. Adam recalled how he was “shocked” by Blake’s sweet remarks.

“I have to say he was disarmingly charming and super nice,” said Adam of Blake’s speech. “He said really sweet and beautiful things, and I was kind of totally shocked and it was amazing. I love you, Blake. Thank you for doing that.”
