Probably no other country star has seen as much crossover success as Shania Twain, but it was her life long dream to sing with none other than Dolly Parton.
Thanks to Oprah, that dream was able to come true.
“This is definitely a life long dream of mine, and what more can I say than that this is my hero, musical and personal hero of all time. Beautiful person inside and out and the person I always wanted to grow up to be,” Twain introduced Dolly saying.
The two sang Parton’s famed song “Coat of Many Colors,” the song Parton says is most biographical.
The song has a powerful message about what being rich really means:

Now I know we had no money, but I was rich as I could be
In my coat of many colors my momma made for me
