Some take a nap before a show.
Others run the stairs.
Florida Georgia Line’s Tyler Hubbard risks his life, or at least he did on this particular afternoon back in 2014 as he hung out riding dirt bikes with daredevil Travis Pastrana.
“My body is hurtin’,” Hubbard says backstage before the show.
Darn those “Sun Daze”.
Yet, it’s “Sun Daze” that Hubbard and fellow FGL partner Brian Kelley are celebrating today as the single lands at the number one spot on both the Mediabase and Billboard Country Airplay charts.
“We are real proud of ‘Sun Daze’ because that song came about so late in the game,” explains Kelley in a recent press release. “It was one of the last ballpark tour dates we did with Nelly, but we were still finishing up the album and inspired to write that day. We thought we pretty much had every song we wanted but this one definitely kicked one of the songs off. It shows that right down to the wire you need to keep writing and stay in your creative zone.”
“We can’t begin to thank Country radio and our fans enough for all of the support for our music and what we do,” FGL’s Tyler Hubbard adds. “We have been beyond blessed the past few years.”
