They may be young, but Thomas Rhett and wife Lauren are more than ready to be parents. And it’s a good thing! They’re expecting not just one, but two babies this year — one who they are adopting from Africa and one who Lauren will give birth to in August.

That’s OK, though. This hot young couple is ready to roll… literally! According to an interview with “People,” he has already started converting his tour bus to make room for his expanded family.

The country singer-songwriter says, “I took a whole row of bunks out of my bus and got a baby crib put in there. So we’re getting life on the road ready for when we do bring them out.” The couple had previously made room on the bus for dog crates for their fur babies, Kona and Cash.

Thomas Rhett has been seeking advice from other touring daddies, including Dierks Bentley, who told him that his days of getting sleep were over and, “Red Bull is going to be your best friend.”

As excited as T-Rhett is for his family to grow by two, he actually wasn’t the first to know that his precious spouse was expecting. While the couple was on safari in Tanzania with good friends Florida Georgia Line’s Tyler Hubbard and wife Hayley, Lauren began to feel sick. Thomas encouraged her to take a pregnancy test, but then he went to the gym to work out. His bride felt so certain the test would be negative, she took it while he was gone. Oops!

“I’m jumping up and down, Tyler’s giving me a bear hug and Hayley’s running out of the room and I’m like ‘Thomas Rhett is not even here,'” Lauren said.

Any chance Tyler and Hayley could be next? Here’s to babies on buses and happy families of all shapes and sizes. We continue to send our congratulations to the happy couple!
