Tim McGraw just paid tribute to the women in his life – and his words will make you melt Twitter/Faith Hill

Days tend to go by without many of us taking the time to pay tribute to the people we live for and look up to. Yet, Mother’s Day is one of those days that tend to give us the perfect opportunity to stop and pay respect to the ones we love the most.

And while a number of country stars headed to their social media channels to wish their family, friends and fans a Happy Mother’s Day, Tim McGraw seemed to take the tribute one beautiful step forward.

“This Mother’s Day as last year, is a bit more reflective at our house than usual,” he wrote in a May 8 Facebook post. “Our second daughter will be graduating high school. I think of how fortunate they are to have such a great role model in their mother. I think about all the years watching them grow, learn, fail, and succeed. How they have looked to her for guidance, love, and reassurance.”

Oh Faith – you are one lucky woman.

But then the post got even better.

“I think of my mother, how hard she worked, the struggles she went through in her life, and the sacrifices she made,” he continued. “And at the pride that she must feel in the legacy that she has created with all of her grandchildren. I’ve always been surrounded by strong, thoughtful and compassionate women. In my childhood, and now in my own home with my own family.”
