A rigorous tour schedule can be tiresome, brutal and even emotionally draining. But it can also contain some of an artist’s most memorable moments.
One of those sorts of moments recently occurred for Hunter Hayes, who took the time to meet with an adorable little fan and aspiring guitarist. But instead of the little boy jumping up and down in elation at the chance of meeting one of his musical heroes, he actually was brought to tears.

“This made my day and broke my heart a little,” Hunter captioned a repost of the original fan’s Instagram photo.
“Hah. Carter, so great to meet you my man! We’ll have to hang out soon dude. Bring that guitar! #Repost @mommabearjbards ・・・ We had such a great time tonight meeting Hunter Hayes and watching him live. My poor boy is so devastated that he couldn’t give Hunter Hayes one more hug.”
All he wants is one more hug Hunter!
