A pair of lads decided to see if they could make watermelon explode using rubber bands — they succeeded

This brief but highly entertaining video comes to us from AFV. It features two dudes chilling in the backyard with a watermelon — that they destroy with rubber bands.

The two chums sit either side of the watermelon. When the video begins, the watermelon is already close to bursting due to the large number of rubber bands that has been placed around it.

After a few more bands are applied, the melon explodes, and skin and flesh go everywhere in glorious slow motion.
