Don Rickles was unquestionably a huge comedic influence on some of the world’s most highly-regarded writers and performers — and the conversation that occurred between Jimmy Kimmel, Bob Saget and John Stamos on Monday’s episode of “Late Night With Jimmy Fallon” certainly proved how loved he was.

The late-night host and the “Fuller House” stars talked affectionately about the comedy legend, who recently passed away at the age of 90. The three friends exchanged stories and remembered old times, with Saget having to hold in tears at one point. “I just loved the guy,” he said.
Kimmel, Stamos and Saget were among the many celebrities who paid tribute to Rickles on social media in the wake of his death.

My daughter took this photo and just texted me, "Look how much he loved you." I can almost hear Don saying, "Take it easy, I tolerated you." pic.twitter.com/nCHHgdgKrD
