Celebrate the holidays with Hillary SNL style in this hilarious Clinton Christmas Carol NBC/Screenshot
Hillary Clinton's Christmas Carol, complete with Sarah Palin, only on SNL

Saturday Night Live brought us a very Hillary Holiday last night—a Clintonian Christmas Carol, if you will—complete with pantsuit pajamas, dreams of a white…house and a visit from the Ghost of Clintons Past: 2008 Hillary.

Amy Poehler reprised her role as Clinton as she brought words of wisdom for her future self, played by Kate McKinnon, remembering back to Christmas Eve 2007, the first time she thought she was moving to Pennsylvania Ave. Hillary-in-Chief was a sure thing, “before someone named Barack Obama stumbled out of a soup kitchen with a basketball and a cigarette and stole my life.”

But what would a sketch referencing the 2008 campaign be complete without Tina Fey’s old pal Sarah Palin, and a reminder that Palin somehow got “a lot closer to the White House than this gal did?” The commentary may have been on point, but the best part of this sketch is simply watching Amy and Tina basically pass the baton to Kate McKinnon. McKinnon’s been an All-Star the past few seasons and reserves her spot in the pantheon of SNL greats.
