Christopher Meloni aka Zaddy isn’t afraid to be naked. Still ripped at age 61, he’s proudly letting his soul run free (as well as other parts of his being). If you saw the Peloton ad that came out this summer and wondered what they were getting at — yes, Meloni is a big, “big fan of nudity.”

The Naked Meloni Peloton Ad Says it All

The Law and Order star says he thought the Ryan Reynolds-produced Peloton ad was “funny,” “cheeky,” and “bold.” And he didn’t ask for permission from his family to do the ad, because it seems that they have to put up with his naked butt regardless of what they think.

“Look, I am a big fan of nudity,” he told People. “I always have been, always, since I was a child. I think it’s a sense of freedom.”

Before the Peloton ad, Meloni told People that he actually works out naked in his home gym. He said he “can do whatever I want… And I don’t black out the window. And I’m okay with that. My wife is not.”

“In the Peloton community, users are represented by two separate but equally motivated groups: Those who wear pants — and Christopher Meloni,” says the narrator.

The Peloton ad is really just spitting Meloni’s truth. Meloni is, in fact, in his element. It’s a series of shots of him working out completely in the buff and talking about how some people think the way he works out is “strange.” But then he keeps referring to the Peloton app.

“Me, I don’t think using the Peloton app is strange at all,” says Meloni, as the camera keeps panning to different angles of his naked and blurred body. It’s a tight blur though — you can definitely see a wobble at one point.

Meloni continues to talk about all the different kinds of exercise he likes to do using the Peloton app. He’s naked in every single scene. There he is doing naked yoga, lifting weights, kickboxing, and then running on a public pathway.

Of course, he probably doesn’t actually streak in public parks. However, Meloni has said that he enjoys visiting nudist locales, like the nudist beaches in Spain.

“We’re a little uptight in this country over that whole thing,” he told People. “How many nudist beaches do we have? Who doesn’t love a good nudist beach? I do. I went nude in Spain.”

A Peloton Comeback?

The Christopher Meloni / Peloton ad comes after the company has been suffering massive drops in its stock after an unfortunate Sex and the City episode. Last December, Carrie Bradshaw’s on-again-off-again love, Mr. Big, finally made his final exit from the show after dropping dead from a heart attack. The reason? He’d just gotten off his Peloton after his 1,000th ride.

It was for the premiere of the Sex and the City revival series, And Just Like That. The episode’s portrayal of Peloton seemed to completely ruin the company’s brand. One intellectual property lawyer told The New York Times that HBO was responsible because it “tarnished Peloton’s good will to consumers,” which could “be evidenced by the stock price plummeting.”

It’s unclear if the naked Meloni ad will save the brand, but hey, it’s worth a shot.

Meloni Was Dubbed the Internet’s “Zaddy” After His Butt Was Compared to Kim Kardashian’s

In the Spring of 2021, just a week after the premiere of Law and Order: Organized Crime, something very special happened. The internet noticed Meloni’s butt. Someone had posted a photo from on-set, and in it, his butt girth was compared to Kim Kardashian’s.

Shortly after that post, Cher complimented Meloni.

“CHRISTOPHER MELONI IS EXCELLENT, CHARISMATIC ACTOR,” she wrote in all-caps on Twitter.

The internet went wild. The actual Queen of Pop called him “Excellent” and “Charismatic.” Hilarious, it seems, as this was just after pictures of his butt started circulating the internet. But for whatever reason, call it luck or something else, Meloni was now officially “Zaddy.”

He told Men’s Health that he thought the whole Zaddy thing is “cool as shit.” After all, he’d just hit his 60th turn around the sun at that point.

Meloni also told People that he’s very much enjoying his sex symbol status these days.

“It’s a gas,” he said. “It’s fun. I don’t know, has anyone else been crowned Zaddy? Once it’s bestowed upon you, you have to just ride that horse as long as you can.” He added that being the world’s “Zaddy” was almost like a “second act.”

  1. I don’t look at nudity being a bad thing. I completely agree with what chris stated. I also befits a freedom of expression.
