It takes a lot of money to run a network television program like “The Late Show,” which means that sponsor ads play a large role in keeping everything running smoothly. Typically, these sponsors are big names, but Stephen Colbert likes to make room for the little guy on his show, so he offers a bit of ad space to smaller companies. Some of them cater to seriously niche markets.
