Most people know Sex on the Beach as an alcoholic beverage. But one couple decided to bring the drink to life — and paid a price for that particular decision.

According to the Daily Mail, the couple was spotted engaging in relations on Miramar Beach in Puerto Colombia. The couple was spotted by a beachgoer who was with his family.
The man filmed the couple to use as (we presume) evidence.
As videos so often do these days, this one went viral. That enabled authorities to track down the couple and hand them each a fine. One which amounted to about $205 in U.S. currency.
Puerto Colombia public security chief Saúl Leyva said that the couple should have known better.
“We have a manual for the use of the beaches to make responsible use of the area, that is why we located these people and fined them,” Leyva said.
Shocking Couple Filmed Having Sex in Ocean
The video shows the couple embracing and twirling in the ocean. Detailing their romance in ways that no one really wanted to see. Especially not when you’re taking a day at the beach with the family.
“Don’t look over there … he’s already laughing,” the man recording the video can be heard saying.
In an interesting twist, the woman in the video claims that cops showed up at her home and demanded $3,000 in fine money. The couple turned over the money — only to learn they were duped.
Of course, these occurrences seem to be becoming a regular thing in Columbia these days. As relayed by the Daily Mail, a similar incident happened not long ago.
“The lewd beach act comes nearly two months after Emily Barríos, a native of the Colombian city of Santa Marta, was filmed having sex with an American man on the balcony of an apartment in the Caribbean coastal province of Cartagena and coerced into coughing up several thousands dollars to prevent from being processed through the judicial team,” the website wrote.
