In fact, a lot of times, it can get downright nasty.
That was the case in Marion County, Fla., where one man was pulled over for driving on two inflated tires. Seems like a good reason to get him off the road, no?
But that’s not all. Turns out, he also appeared to be fairly inebriated. He told the deputy he had hit a curb after someone had placed a curse on him. So, that’s clearly how his tires became flat, he said.
Or maybe not.
Suspected DUI Driver Blames Damaged Car on ‘Paranormal Activity’
After stumbling from the car and refusing a sobriety test, the suspect blamed the flats on “paranormal activity.”
Deputies then came to the conclusion that he needed to take a sobriety test. The man, who was fairly subdued a first, responded by telling the officer that the officer was just being “a bald-headed white guy.”
That was about the nicest thing he said. Eventually, he threatened to “break [the deputy’s] head with a baseball bat” and “skin [the deputy] alive.”
Oh, and he spit on a deputy and tried to grab the deputy’s taser, albeit unsuccessfully. Other than all that, the man was a real prince.
He continued his boorish behavior by calling the deputy “a Nazi,” later adding “I bet if I killed you right now, they’d give you a medal.”
Once in the back seat of the cruiser, the man continued to curse and spit and provide reasons why he should receive more than just a citation.
Eventually, he was charged with two counts of battery on a law enforcement officer, resisting an officer with violence, attempt to deprive an officer of means of protection or communication, corrupt by threat against public servant and driving under the influence.
Other than that, he’s totally innocent.
