Eddie Murphy’s BBQs are not like everyone else’s

Eddie Murphy has been a funny guy for a long time. He’s made his living from movies and got his big start on Saturday Night Live as the only super funny guy on there for a few seasons. He also did stand-up comedy back in the day, and this story about how drunk his dad got at family BBQs is something else.

Murphy’s dad apparently would get pretty drunk and speak his mind a little more than he should have. He went on a rant about the little dog they had, and how he mistreats it because seven-year-old Eddie doesn’t take care of the dog. Murphy’s accent is pretty great, and hearing him act out his father’s complaints about unruly children is quite relatable. If only Murphy still did stand-up.
