Parents often say that raising children is the most rewarding thing in the world. You’ll notice that they never say it’s very easy. This brief video, posted by the Gardner Quad Squad, is illustrative of the difficulties of raising kids, especially when they’re young. You just don’t really get much time off when tending to toddlers.

While dad was out shoveling the driveway, mom was nearly at her wits’ end, and needed a brief moment alone. In order to get a second to eat some Twizzlers, she had to lock herself in the pantry. Even then, her daughter is peeking under the door. Mom laughs and says hello to the little pursuer.
“They want everything you have.”
Kids are lucky they’re adorable enough to get away with being so demanding.
