Jim Carrey’s old stand-up is always good for laughs

Jim Carrey has made everyone laugh hysterically in movies like “The Mask,” “Ace Ventura: Pet Detective,” “Dumb and Dumber” and “Bruce Almighty”. Back before the movies, he got his start thanks to his hilarious stand-up routines and regular appearances on the Johnny Carson Show.  This is one show where he went back to his home country of Canada to perform.

He talks the negative stereotype people have of Canadians as these dolts who just live in arctic conditions and hold back negative impulses, such as trying to shave your tongue or slapping your best friend just because you can. He also did a pretty nice Jimmy Stewart impression and tried his hand at Middle Eastern pop music!

What do you think?
