Whether we like her or not, it’s hard to deny that Michelle Obama brought charisma to the position of first lady. She’s danced, pranked and joked her way into our hearts, and many Americans will be sad to see her leave.

Fallon recorded people saying goodbye to a portrait of the first lady, but little did they know she was standing right behind the curtain.

According to the White House website, Mrs. Obama graduated from Princeton, then Harvard Law School. She met her husband at a Chicago law firm, and the rest is history.
