The monologue must go on!

On the Oct. 6 episode of “The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon,” Fallon was in the middle of his monologue when he got ‘injured’ and had to tag in a substitute host to finish the monologue for him.

The audience was confused at first as he left the stage calling for someone to spot him but everyone quickly learned it was just the perfect set up for him to bring back the one and only Jay Leno to the stage. Jimmy then returned so they could finish the monologue out together.
