Jimmy Kimmel solves the great pineapple on pizza debate of our time

For as long as people have been eating pizza, the question of toppings has raged — specifically, the question of pineapples on the tasty Italian specialty.

Jimmy Kimmel pointed out that though Hawaii is often credited with the topping, the idea was actually birthed in Canada. He even pulled up a tweet from Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, who defended the topping.

Kimmel dished out his own take on the matter.

“Pineapples don’t belong on pizza,” he said. “I don’t care where you’re from.”

And while there may be some division on the pineapple on pizza debate, there is another more insidious trend that’s popping up on social media — people dunking their pizza in milk.

“People that dip their pizza in milk are the people we should be deporting,” Kimmel quipped.
