A California man is now being dubbed as the worst human alive after surveillance footage showed him literally stealing a dog out of a parked car. Through a Facebook post, the Irving Police Department stated a small dog called “Mookie”  was stolen out of a car in the University Town Center parking lot.

Detectives were able to locate surveillance video that showed the man walking up to the car on its rear passenger side. He then begins to talk to the dog and then physically puts his hand inside the car through the open window and snatches poor Mookie.

Luckily, police were able to identify the man as 38-year-old Earl Choi.  Police said the dog’s owner posted about the incident on a pet recovery website. Choi then allegedly contacted the owner and stated that his roommate came home with a dog that matched Moookie’s description.

He went on to tell the owner that he would return the dog for a small fee. As expected, the owner agreed to meet the man in order to get his dog back.  Once Choi arrived at the location with the dog, officers quickly arrested and charged him with Grand Theft.

Mookie was able to reunite with his owner, and they are now living happily ever after. Honestly, this is such a low blow. Stealing a dog for cash is the worst thing someone can do in my opinion. This poor animal is defenseless and doesn’t know what’s happening which is worse.

Also, have some human dignity bro, this is low. I really want to know how much he asked for in return, like how much can you make returning a dog?  Also, did he think the owner wasn’t going to call the police? I love dumb robberies like these.

What do you think?
