Mormons Refuse to Ring Doorbell After Owners Buy ‘Gayest Place in Town’ Doormat

It’s stories like these that make me love my job. Sometimes, humans on the internet make me so happy. These poor missionaries were just trying to do their job, but nope. This house owner said, not today Mormon satan, you’re not winning this time. PERIOD.

I think I can confidently say that Ron Filipkowski pretty much solved all our problems. He found a way to cheat the system in the coolest way ever. Basically, he captured the glorious moment two missionary kids were about to ring on their door to ask if he had a moment to talk about our lord Jesus Christ.

“Gayest…Nope.”

But, when they looked down, they figured they better get going. Why? Well, Filipkowski had a glorious mat that read, “Gayest Place in Town.” Not only that but the mat in question is so colorful, that it just makes you want to hug everybody in that house. But not the missionaries, oh no.

Luckily for us, he decided to post the Ring doorbell video on Twitter. “Church of Latter-day Saints throwing in the towel when they see the β€˜Gayest Place in Town’ door mat. These boys had a lot more tenacity and spirit back in the day. Don’t make them like they used to,” he captioned the Tweet. He also shared an image of the mat, because well, everyone was asking.

The video is just so funny, you can see the moment these two kids throw in the towel. One of the kids can be heard saying, “Gayest,” pause…”nope,” as they walk away in defeat.

Good try though we appreciate their efforts.

  1. I thought the Mormon’s we’re supposed to help people. Why didn’t they ring the bell and talk to them about the sins of being gay,(they’re words, not mine)πŸ€£πŸ˜‚
