We’ve all at some point in our lives found ourselves in a situation where a ladder was just that little bit too short to reach the height we need. This usually pertains to somehow getting to the roof of the house.
When this happens, there are several courses of action one can take. You can abandon the endeavor altogether, for lacking of proper equipment. You can call in the professionals, who are far more likely to have the necessary tools to succeed in various kinds of home projects. Or, as this fellow tried his best to achieve, you can try to find a makeshift remedy around the house that boosts you those last few feet you need to reach the roof.
In the case of the poor, unfortunate soul pictured in the above video, that item was an outdoor table.
As soon as the guy made it to the top of the ladder, his weight began to topple the balance of the ladder and it began to slide on the surface of the table. Of course, that sliding meant that eventually the ladder fell off the ledge of the patio furniture, leading this here fellow to come crashing down to the ground.
Regardless of one’s understanding of physics, most people would have been able to determine that that was a bad idea. Really, has this ever worked for anyone?
