Santa Claus is still coming to town, he just may be making a stop in the slammer first. And instead of saying “ho, ho, ho,” he apparently will be just randomly screaming this year. So don’t be alarmed if you hear “aaaah!” coming from your chimney on Christmas morning.

The bad Santa came out in full force at an Australian hardware store, where police said he entered and caused a ruckus. So they chased him down, inside the building, and when he started to come at them, got the pepper spray.
That is when the screams began, as Santa was taken to the ground, arrested, and whisked away in an ambulance. Rudolph, by all accounts, was not driving and frankly, wanted nothing to do with it.

On the bright side, as you may notice in the video, one of the employees made sure Santa didn’t lose his hat, sliding it back toward him as the bloody screams continued. Everyone else just sort of casually looked on, which was as remarkable as the arrest itself.
Victoria Police, for their part, did not name Santa by name in their statement.
“Police were called to a business on McMahons Road about 1pm after reports of a man behaving erratically,” the statement read. “The man was asked to leave by staff but refused. Officers were forced to escort the man off the premises but he resisted officers and assaulted them.”
Not exactly the Christmas spirit, huh? But hey, at least theres evidence now that puts Santa on the naughty list his year! Try explaining that to Mrs. Clause, not a good look for old St. Nick! Maybe next year, kind sir!
