Buzzfeed’s “Dear Kitten” series, where an older cat drops words of wisdom on his inexperienced kitty cohort, has now managed to find its way onto the big screen.
In a Super Bowl spot for Friskies, the snarky elder cat hilariously analyzes the traditions of football viewers.
“At random intervals, they all shout,” the older cat remarks. “And the person who gets up the fastest and shouts the loudest is the winner, and gets to hit everyone else.”
It’s an hysterical three minutes of kitty commentary, but odds are you won’t be able to watch it on game day. The spot will only air in Kitty Hawk, North Carolina; Los Gatos, California; and Pawnee, Nebraska.
Clever marketing, indeed.
