Pete Davidson is thinking about his father today.

On Sunday, the “Saturday Night Live” star took to Instagram with a sweet and funny tribute to the father he lost in the attacks on Sept. 11, 2001.

“One of my dads homies gave me his old dirty ass boots from work and a sick photo of him lookin like a young legend !!! Apparently my dad wore sketchers how fuckin embarrassing!!”

Davidson was just 7 years old when his father, a fire fighter and one of the first responders at the World Trade Center, died in 2001. Now 22, Davidson continues to remember his father’s legacy.
