April Fools’ Day is a celebration of pranksters everywhere. Even big businesses and industries try to get in on the fun. We all remember the Google “mic drop” prank that ended up in the ditch after a funeral home accidentally used the feature. The company had to apologize for the chaos that they caused.
But, there have actually been a number of painfully bad blunders by companies, websites and co-workers. One Londoner ended up in the hospital after he got so stressed about an early deadline and ended up retiring early when he found out his new deadline was a joke. A radio host told his listeners that the Titanic would be off the coast and they rushed to a cliff, nearly plunging to their deaths. Thankfully, most of these pranks ended without any serious damage.
