On Monday’s episode of “Conan,” comedian TJ Miller brought onstage a tie that he had apparently purchased as a gag, back when the country considered Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump to be a joke.

“Back when Donald Trump was funny […] he’s not very funny anymore,” Miller said.

After he brought out the tie, Miller revealed that he had a lighter and tried in vain to light the tie on fire.

“It won’t burn! It won’t burn!” Miller said.

“That’s how shitty Donald J. Trump‘s ties are, they’re not even flammable!”

To great applause from the crowd and some chuckles from Conan O’Brien, Miller finally got the tie aflame.

Eventually the tie started to torch, and Miller threw it on the ground, stomped on it and continued his interview.

Miller has never been shy about his hatred for Trump and often tweets about the presidential nominee.

“Let’s stop this nonsense,” Miller wrote this summer.

“Trump is a madman. He’s a lunatic. He’ll ruin us globally. Let’s fuck him up in November.”
