Sometimes the best way an A-list actor can curry favor with the general public is to show they can take a joke. Mark Wahlberg is no exception.

Last week, Wahlberg put up with Kevin Hart teasing him about his former rap career and wearing Calvin Klein underwear many moons ago. But about five years ago, Wahlberg laughed even harder when Chelsea Handler interviewed him and Will Ferrell around the release of Daddy’s Home 2.
Granted, Handler made fun of Ferrell and not Wahlberg in the clip. Even so, it’s hard to find footage of Wahlberg bursting into hysterics as intensely as he did during the goofy interview.
Chelsea Handler Shows How To Make Mark Wahlberg Laugh Uncontrollably
The segment, called One Word Answers With Will Ferrell and Mark Wahlberg, came out in November 2017. It was featured on Chelsea, the Netflix talk show that she hosted in 2016 and 2017.
The bit resembled a higher-quality version of Between Two Ferns with Zach Galifianakis. (Ferrell subjected himself to a mock interview in that online series as well.)
Like Galifianakis, Handler showed her impressive acting skills by playing it straight the whole way through. A brief TikTok clip captures the funniest part of Handler’s “interview” with the Daddy’s Home 2 stars.
Handler uploaded the video through her TikTok account as a way of congratulating Wahlberg on his recently released buddy comedy with Hart, Me Time.

In the 2017 clip, Handler first addressed Mark Wahlberg.
“Now, I know you have a lot of children. You have four children? And I know how you got them.”
Then she turned to Ferrell.
“Will? How did you reproduce?” she deadpanned.
Handler had barely finished asking her question before Ferrell began cracking up. Wahlberg laughed even harder. Ever the pro, Handler kept a straight face while the actors continued acting like a barrel of monkeys.
Once the laughter subsided, Mark Wahlberg turned to Ferrell.
“I did not think that was funny,” he said while trying (and failing) not to laugh. “Just for the record, my friend, I did not …”
“Sex,” Ferrell interrupted Wahlberg, finally replying to Handler with one word, as required in the segment. (Not that Handler’s silly question even deserved a serious answer.)
