The skit is a play on the 1977 meeting of Crosby and Bowie, where they sang a combination of “Peace on Earth” and “Little Drummer Boy.” Crosby died later that year, and Bowie was one of the many celebrities claimed by 2016. Crosby’s rendition of “White Christmas” is still the best-selling single of all time.
