Love knows no bounds, and apparently, that means when one of the spouses is dead before you even meet. But if you do want to marry a ghost, just know that it won’t be so easy finding a church.

Just ask British singer Brocarde, who met her husband, fittingly, on Halloween, as relayed by LadBible. It wasn’t easy, though, because she says she couldn’t find any place that would take their nuptials seriously.

Imagine that.

Brocarde, 38, said she wanted an all-white wedding — though wasn’t specific as to whether she meant she wanted everyone dressed in white dresses and suits, or white sheets.

As an interesting aside, she said she never really believed in ghosts. But true love can change a lot.

Her husband’s name is Eduardo, he is a former Victorian soldier, and the couple is living in martial bliss. Or so Brocarde will have you believe.

Granted, this could be viewed as little more than a publicity stunt, but again, it didn’t come without its challenges.

“I think there is a bit of an issue with religion and the after life,” she said of the difficulties in finding a church, via LadBible. “Not all priests believe.”

Nonetheless, she remained determined to carry out their vows, and pretty much at first sight. It clearly didn’t matter that she was the only one who can see her husband.

“I had tears streaming down my face,” she said of their first encounter. “It was really intense, and I think it was the fact that it was so intense that converted me.”
