Nick Offerman, the actor who played (and is often very similar to) Ron Swanson oo “Parks and Recreation,” went on “The Late Late Show with James Corden” to promote his new book “Good Clean Fun: Misadventures in Sawdust at Offerman Woodshop.” Offerman is well known as a craftsman, and he apparently gets some unusual commissions at his shop.

An order came in for an, uh, aromatherapy stool for women. To hear Offerman tell it, it involved a relatively simple seat with a cauldron below it, in which medicinal herbs could be boiled. It’s impressive how Offerman can maintain his deadpan delivery even when recounting such a strange thing.
