11 unbelievable ice cream flavors that will make you scream Rare Life / YouTube

Everybody knows “I scream, you scream, we all scream for ice cream.”

It’s usually meant to convey excitement for the frozen treat, of course. But this summer, here’s a roundup of some unusual flavor ideas that might make you actually scream in horror.

Although you never know … Go ahead and give ‘em a try. You might find new favorite to replace that ol’ chocolate, vanilla, strawberry routine.

1. Avocado

Actually, this one can be quite delicious — especially if you love guacamole. This recipe is an ice cream alternative you may not have considered.

3. Chicken wing

This was an April Fool’s Day prank from Perry’s Ice Cream, but it did get us thinking … maybe a sundae with blue cheese whipped cream?

7. Bacon

That’s really all you have to say. While the Ben and Jerry’s bacon version you see around the Web is just a hoax, Burger King was good enough to step up and give the people what they didn’t know they wanted. (Photo: Food / Flickr)
