Instead, cast members at Disney’s Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique will now be known as “Fairy Godmother’s Apprentices,” the theme parked announced. That’s a change from “”Fairy Godmothers in Training.”

So why the change? To make the theme parks more gender-neutral, Walt Disney World announced.

“This way cast members that might not identify as female can still be part of the process to dress up and style the children without having to refer to themselves as a female Disney character,” a post n Disney’s website read.

Added Fox News: “This way cast members that might not identify as female can still be part of the process to dress up and style the children without having to refer to themselves as a female Disney character.”

Needless to say, not everyone is in favor of the change.

“I saw this [the change in title to ‘Fairy Godmothers in Training’] and I think it’s absurd,” one New York father commented, via Fox. “Having a daughter who did the Bibbity Boppity Boutique where this is being implemented just further cements my thoughts that I can’t take my kids there anymore. They’ve gone full woke.”
