A Cinnabon Classic Roll, while delicious, has nearly 880 calories. That’s horrifying when you consider the average person only needs between 2,000 and 2,500 calories a day.

So what should you do when that cinnamon craving hits? You can get a “MiniBon” (350 calories), which involves driving to a mall, standing in line, and spending money. Or, in just one minute, you can make a cinnamon roll at home — in a coffee mug, no less.

This mug cinnamon roll from A Virtual Vegan even includes a delicious, two-ingredient glaze. Who needs Cinnabon anyway?

You will need:

Cinnamon roll

  • 9 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • ¾ teaspoon baking powder
  • Pinch of salt
  • 3 to 4½ tablespoons water
  • ¾ teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1½ tablespoons coconut sugar (or any fine sugar)
  • ½ teaspoon water
  • Oil for greasing mug

  • 3 tablespoons powdered sugar
  • Drop of water or milk

This dessert can even be vegan — just make sure you use a plant-based milk for the glaze! Get the full recipe here.
