She adds jalapeño poppers to her grilled cheese and we are in awe of her genius

We thought we’d seen it all when we came across the sloppy grilled cheese (with a sloppy joe inside, naturally).

But Beth from Small Town Woman may have reached the pinnacle of grilled cheese goodness. She puts jalapeño poppers on her grilled cheese sandwich. Yes, not jalapeño peppers, but jalapeño poppers. Brilliant.

Oh, and did we mention the sandwich also has bacon? Because it definitely does.

You will need:

• 2 jalapeños, sliced lengthwise, seeds and membranes removed
• 4 ounces cream cheese
• 4 slices bacon, crisply cooked
• 2 slices Monterey Jack
• 2 slices sharp Cheddar
• 4 slices Italian bread
• Cilantro, chopped
• Butter for greasing pan
