She recommends strawberry or watermelon flavored Jell-O because of the red color. We recommend sticking just to strawberry because you’ll be adding chocolate chips later. Chocolate with strawberries is a such a classic combo.

Basically, all you have to do is make the Jell-O and pour it into hollowed out limes. The green skin of the lime looks just like watermelon rind. Use a melon baller to remove everything from the lime peel – save it to make limeade!

Once the Jell-O has set, slice the lime halves into smaller segments and add chocolate chips.

Tip: Use an ice cube tray or cupcake tin to prop up the lime halves as you pour.
