We’re obsessed with tie-dye food right now. First, it was the tie-dye frosting pouring onto the cake (a video we still can’t stop watching). Now, we’ve discovered the recipe for these gorgeous galaxy donuts.

This recipe is adapted from Ginger Vegan, but you don’t have to make yours vegan. Use whatever type of donut you’d like, then get ready for magic to unfold.

Now it’s time to decorate the donuts.

You will need:

  • 3 tablespoons coconut oil, melted
  • 3 tablespoons milk (or soy milk, if you’re vegan)
  • 1½ cups icing sugar
  • Food coloring
  • Edible glitter dust

Edible glitter is sold online and can also be found in craft stores.

Step-by-step instructions (including gifs!) for turning the donuts into glittery masterpieces can be found on Yahoo! Style. The process really isn’t very different from the one for the tie-dye cake, which is surprisingly easy to make.
