Happy Halloween, boys and ghouls!

The spookiest time of the year isn’t complete without some fun recipes! And don’t just limit yourself to treats — there are plenty of ways to get into the Halloween spirit at lunchtime!

Today, I’m going to show you how to make hot dog spiders. Between these and last year’s mummy hot dogs, we’re taking care of all your kids’ Halloween lunch needs.

You’ll need:

  • 1 can crescent roll dough
  • 4 hot dogs
  • Black sesame seeds

I don’t like hot dogs, so I used turkey sausages. However, when hot dogs cook, the split ends apparently curl up to look like legs — and that definitely didn’t happen here. So keep that in mind if you’re looking for a spooky spider effect with this recipe!
