We absolutely love bacon; from grilled cheese to burritos to cheesy bacon bombs, we can incorporate it into anything.

But cooking bacon isn’t very much fun, thanks to the greasy mess it often leaves behind.

This tip from YouTuber HouseholdHacker reveals a simple way to cook bacon evenly and with virtually no cleanup. You’re above to learn how to make a magical bacon weave.

Weaving the bacon and then baking it in the oven (400 degrees for 20 minutes) on a parchment paper-lined cookie sheet allows much of the grease to run off the bacon and onto the paper. When it comes out of the oven, place it between two paper towels to soak up the excess liquid.

The best part of the bacon weave is being able to cut it (a pizza cutter works really well for this) to perfectly fit a sandwich.
