Tacos are acceptable for any meal — even dessert. Just make them with cookies and whipped cream instead of tortillas and spices.

But since we haven’t been able to find taco shell-shaped cookies in any grocery store, we discovered an easy way to mold a cookie around some sweet fillings.

Simply bake a batch of sugar cookies, then allow them to cool just until you can touch them without burning your fingers. Wrap the still-warm cookies around a rolling pin covered in aluminum foil. Voilà!

You will need:

  • 16.5-ounce roll refrigerated sugar cookie dough
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • ¾ teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 3 more tablespoons sugar
  • 2 cups fruit chopped (the recipe uses kiwifruit, strawberries and mango)
