If you haven’t seen “Martha & Snoop’s Potluck Dinner Party” yet, you’re in for a real treat. Jokes between the two will definitely cheer you up if that’s what you need in the wake of the election.

In the premiere episode of their new show, which aired Nov. 7 on VH1, they have a fried chicken cook-off that turns into a celebrity game of two lies and a truth. The two recipes are very different, but both aredeemed unbelievably delicious by the judges.

Martha’s recipe takes a few days to make and starts with soaking the chicken in a brine. Snoop brags about how quickly he can make his signature wings, which are coated with a secret blend of spices and BBQ chips.

Luckily, VH1 shared both recipes, so we can all recreate the cook-off at home.

Here’s what you’ll need:

For Snoop’s chicken:

  • 1 quart vegetable oil
  • 5 lbs chicken wings
  • 1/4 cup Reo’s Seasoning (secret recipe including Lawry’s seasoning)
  • 2 cups flour
  • BBQ chips

For Martha’s chicken:

  • 3 tbsp + 1 tsp coarse salt
  • 1 whole fryer chicken, 3.5-4 lbs
  • 2 cups buttermilk
  • 2 tsp dry mustard
  • 1 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 1 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 1/2 cups flour
  • 2 tbsp yellow cornmeal
